Dragon Hunt
Runners: Old Father, The
Colonel, Thin White Duke, Silverblade and Tara, Stormcrow Chief
Lonewind, known as The Old Father joined the group and introduced his niece Suzie Stormcrow. The runners were hired by a
Mr Johnson, wanted to meet in Seattle General. Although somewhat surprised,
they agreed to meet him and were even more surprised when “Mr Johnson” turned
out to be Eloihan – a dragon. The
Dragon informed them he had turned up at the hospital a couple of days ago
shot to pieces, the doctors had managed to patch him up but he needed the
runners to find something for him – his identity! He had no recollection of either. The only clue he has is an
earring that was all he had in his possession when he arrived at the
hospital. Following
up this clue to a shop called
King Solomon’s Mine, when they
get there the place had been ransacked, however they did manage to find the
earring had been commissioned by
Justine Grier at Emerging Futures – a small corporate think tank. Not
having any luck with a visit to Ms Grier, they break in to her office that
night and discover the company had been working on a major project for Ares
called Cerberus. They also discovered that all the files on the project now
deleted had been copied by someone called Coinspinner. Hitting
the streets, they discovered that
Coinspinner can be found at the Cobalt Marie – a club in the Barrens. At
which point a couple of suits from Ares warn the runners off. Undeterred the
party heads down the Cobalt Marie for a little after-hours exploration.
Eventually tracing Coinspinner down , just before an Ares hit squad gets him,
he tells them Ares wants Eloihan dead and offers them loads of Nuyen to save
him. Heading
swiftly to Seattle General and fighting their way bloodily past Ares security
goons at the hospital, they discover
at the last minute Ares has decided to cut a deal will Eloihan rather than
kill him. |
