A Killing Glare
Runners: Fingers, Clinton,
Queeg, Lilith, Steelfist, Running Wolf, Mr Joshua, Iceface Special Guest Appearance:
Red Hammer The Runners were hired by the manager of the Seattle Screamers, an Urban Brawl team, to investigate Punch & Judy - the Screamer’s star players. The runners hit the streets and found out that a burned out mage, Bubba, has some info. Searching for Bubba, Queeg was killed (messily) by ghouls in the sewers and Red Hammer joined the runners as replacement. Once the runners had located Bubba he tells them the players were once shadowrunners TopCat and Starlight on the run from Aztechnology after a disastrous run. As the runners talk to him a pair of Aztechnology hit men arrive the runners manage to fight them off but not before Bubba legs it. The runners are then politely warned off by the Mafia, who are planning a little fix for the next big Urban Brawl game and don’t want any messy shadowrunners screwing things up. As the runners continue the hear at Joe’s Bar that Bubba has turned up – dead! Apparently scragged by another Aztechnology hit squad. Who are now looking for Punch and Judy . Hoping for a lead on Punch and Judy the Aztechnology squad hits the runners. Punch and Judy turned up out of the blue to help the runners deal with the problem, saving their necks. The team reports back to Joe and collects their fee. During the opening of the Super Brawl game however the runners recognise one of the New York Slashers as the leader of the Aztechnology hit-squad – obviously Aztechnology are planning to kill Punch & Judy during the game. The
runners decided to sneak into the
brawl zone and try to save Punch and Judy. Chaos
ensued, all live on national TV. |
